Centro Cultural José Martí
El Centro Cultural José Martí nace de la importancia de tener un lugar alternativo para la difusión de la cultura en general, de la cultura cubana y mexicana; además de la necesidad de contar con un espacio permanente de solidaridad con el pueblo cubano. Fue inaugurado el 2 de Octubre de 2004 por la Dra. Aleida Guevara March.
Cuenta con biblioteca pública, dos aulas, áreas de exposición, sala de usos múltiples y cafetería.
Nuestra asociación pone a disposición de los artistas, artesanos (que no cuentan con espacios propios y adecuados) y del pueblo en general nuestras instalaciones para impartir y recibir cursos, talleres, seminarios, exposiciones, ciclos de cine, presentación de libros, obras de teatro, conferencias, mesas redondas, conciertos, audiciones, etcétera.
Nuestro fin es ser una alternativa más de cultura, un territorio abierto a todo lo que sea innovador y a la defensa de nuestra cultura; un espacio al alcance de las familias pobres de este Estado y un territorio para el rescate de nuestro Centro Histórico.
